🌅 Plan your day around the prayers

An ibaadat-first rhythm.

  • Reach the Haram before Fajr and pray in congregation.
  • Stay for dhikr and Qur’an after Fajr until sunrise — great reward.
  • Rest mid-morning; hydrate with Zamzam.
  • Return well before Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha to beat the crowds.
  • Use the quieter hours for tawaf, ziyarah and personal dua.
  • Sleep early so Tahajjud and Fajr come easily.

🚑 Safety & emergencies

Install the Saudi Red Crescent “Asefny” app — it shares your GPS and finds the nearest hospital.

Keep your hotel name & address and your group leader’s number handy.

🚄 Getting around

Between the two holy cities and the airports.

  • Makkah ↔ Madinah on the Haramain high-speed train — about 2–2.5 hours.
  • The train also serves Jeddah and King Abdulaziz Airport (KAIA).
  • Bus (SAPTCO) and private car are slower alternatives (about 5–6 hours).
  • Book the free Rawdah (Riyadh ul-Jannah) permit in the Nusuk app before Madinah.
